SKisM - Rave Review. **Watch the Video.**

Watch this... This is Hilarious! Big up SKisM.

Hospital Records (Hospitality) NEW RESIDENCY: Fabric.

Its official. Hospitality has moved to EC1. Fabric will now be hosting London's 3 biggest DnB Residencies! RAM, Hospitality and Playaz! Fabric is now the only place to go for top quality Drum and Bass in London!

Rumours are now circulating all over the internet forums with speculation on Fabric closing their doors after the closure of its sister club; Matter. According to sources the owners are suffering financial difficulties due to the massive losses Matter incurred and apparently they used Fabric as financial collateral to fund the project. Hopefully there is no truth in these rumours. Fingers Crossed...

TUNE! of the week.

RESO vs. VENT - RUMBLE (DC BREAKS REMIX)

Loving DC Breaks at the moment. TUNE!

Blu Mar Ten...

... are SHIT. Saw one of the trio DJing at Fabric on Friday. And i have to say the mixing was awful along with the track selection. No mate, a DnB remix of 'The Killers - When you were young' is not what anyone wants to hear and yes; you looked like a middle aged paedophile sweating over the decks.

RAM : New Venue - FABRIC.

RAM has officially moved to Fabric 'for the forseeable future.' i have to say that i'm pretty excited about this as i prefer Fabric to Matter and it's even better news that in August RAM will be hosting all 3 rooms! All that's left now is to see where Hospitality and FWD re-locate to...

Andy C posted this statement on Facebook yesterday:

As you may have heard, matter have taken the decision to close their doors for the summer months.

We are happy to announce that, for the foreseeable future, our new home will be fabric http://www.fabriclondon.com/
We are very sorry that it has taken a while to make this announcement but we have been waiting for the matter and fabric team to organize the quite complicated shift to Farringdon.

Fabric was already booked for this date so due to the short notice of the relocation we will be teaming up with the Plump DJs for the launch of Grand Hotel Records. They have been kind enough to let us host Rooms 1 and 3 while they will host Room 2 (featuring Plump DJs, Zane Lowe, Dj Zinc, Joker Of The Scene, Starmsith). Given the last minute nature of the venue change we have had to adapt the line up across all rooms for many reasons that were well out of our hands. We hope you understand.

For the August show we will be hosting all 3 rooms of fabric.
All tickets bought for matter will of course be valid for fabric.

Tickets for the event are available from http://www.fabriclondon.com/

DJ Fresh - Kryptonite EP

1. Talkbox
2. Lassitude ft. Koko
3. Kyrptonite
4. Golddust ft. Ce'cile
5. Acid Rain
6. Hypercaine
7. Starfall ft. Val Beestings
8. Chacruna
9. Fight ft. Val Beestings
10. Heavyweight

To be honest i'm a little disappointed with the tracklisting for this album as i have heard half of these before and they have been around for quite some time. Also the fact that there is only 10 tracks is a bit lazy i think. Take a look at Noisia's Album for example. Packed out with tonnes of banging tracks.

OUT JULY 19TH 2010

R.I.P Matter.

It's Official... R.I.P

Officials at the three-floor, 2,600 capacity venue in Greenwich have been working over the past few days to avoid closing permanently. In a statement released yesterday, however, the owners of the 02, AEG, confirmed that the club "has temporarily closed over the summer period with a view to re-launching later in the year. This decision has been taken by the owners of matter. The reopening will be considered over the course of the next few months and we will keep you advised when further information is available."

There is no word at the moment where events scheduled for matter will be moving, but keep an eye out over the course of the next few weeks: Events of this size will surely be finding new homes throughout the city.

Matter R.I.P ? !

It seems that after only two years London's Matter is already closing it's doors.

Had some wicked nights in there at RAM, Hospitality and FWD!

Hopefully the rumours aren't true but it seems it was confirmed last night by one of Matter's resident dj's; DJ YOUSEF on an online forum.

He said: “You may as well hear it from me. Due to many reasons, the main one being the lack of transport to the venue, Matter has shut for the summer. Sad times. They are an amazing bunch down there.” The post was later removed.

Event magazine also reports that Matter lost £1 million in the first year after it opened in 2008, and was £3 million in debt according to the same accounts.
